Spring Break with Grandma and Grandpa

We joined Grandma and Grandpa in Key West for week of fun!

Carly didn't mind wearing her sunglasses, but Layla was not a fan.  I couldn't even get her picture taken with them.













We took the girls to their first beach, and they weren't very thrilled.

We left the beach and tried the pool.  They loved it! Carly enjoyed lounging in the float and Layla couldn't get enough "swimming" with Grandpa.

We saw several beautiful sunsets. 

We went on two boat rides in one day!  The morning ride was a glass bottom boat tour and the evening we went on a sunset cruise.

We went to the Aquarium.

 

We ate at a lot of good places the whole week!  Here are the girls and Grandma at a French Cafe.

The girls got a lot of attention as we walked around Key West.

We had a great vacation!

The girls are getting better at self feeding little chunks of food.  I gave them bits of apple in a bowl.  Layla touched the apples, took her hand out of the bowl and watched to see what Carly did.  Carly dumped the apples out and started moving them around on her tray.  She then started banging on her tray and the little bits of apples went flying off, much to the dogs' delight.  Layla copied her sister and dumped her apples out, but still was unsure about touching them.

They each have such different personalities.
