Visitors!

We had two visitors this weekend.  Grandpa and Grandma Strutt flew in Friday night.  The girls woke up Saturday morning, and after a stare down, they loved seeing them! We played outside with the girls new Christmas presents.

After afternoon naps, we met Aaron at a Whole Foods that has its own brewery.  Pretty cool.

The girls wanted to do some shopping while we were there.  

We ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant and then headed home to cheer on the Cyclones against Kansas.

The next day we woke up and played around the house (inside and outside) and then went to each at Torchy's Tacos. Yum!

After lunch Aaron dropped Grandpa off at the airport on his way to work.  Grandma, the girls, and I went home to nap and then headed to look at some washers and dryers. We have been having problems with our dryer and the washing machine stopped working this weekend.  The girls were inspecting the dryers to see which one they wanted.

We went home, made spaghetti for supper and then went to bed.  Shopping for appliances is exhausting!

Today we woke up and played outside some more.

We had a great weekend!  Thanks for coming to visit, Grandma and Grandpa.  Can't wait to see you again!

Weekend Pictures

As we were driving home from work/school Friday afternoon, I heard the girls giggling.  I looked behind me and saw them holding hands.  I took a picture when we stopped at a red light.  (It was taken with my phone and the picture is not the best quality.)

The girls have started this new game.  They hug each other and then fall down.  They think it is the funniest thing!

Saturday morning we were playing and Layla ran out of hands to carry the things she wanted.  She was resourceful.

(We need to talk about the different uses for a basket.)

For lunch we met Christi and Nicole.  The girls were in great moods!

Sunday we went to Bryce's 5th birthday party.  It was a cold, rainy day, but everyone had fun celebrating him!

This happened a few weeks after Thanksgiving and I just uploaded it tonight.  I love their "purses."
