Family Vacation

Aaron flew in Friday night and Saturday morning we headed down to Honey Creek Resort for 4 days of family fun!

We spent our first morning at the beach.

The next few mornings we went to an indoor water park.

One morning we all went to a park.

The rest of them time was spent enjoying the company.

Summer Vacation Part 2

The girls and I stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house for a few weeks.  We kept Grandma and Grandpa very busy! The girls liked to help Grandma water her flowers.

We went to story time at the library and then played in a nearby park.

Aunt Jaclyn gave us the idea to fill bowls up and let the girls play.  It kept them busy for a long time!

We went to my old Elementary school's playground and they had the perfect slide!

We went to the Art Festival in Des Moines.

The girls helped Grandma make some banana bread!

Over the 4th of July weekend we went back to McGregor for more family time.  The girls were more comfortable swimming in the river this time.

When we went back to Des Moines I took the girls for their first hair cut.

Becca, Jonah, and Cora drove to Des Moines Tuesday to hang out with us. We tried to keep busy with popsicles, parks, picnic lunches, story time, reading with Grandpa, and the zoo.

We are ready for our family vacation!
